ATLAS missions are part of NASA's Earth Science Enterprise, a large-scale, unified study of planet Earth as a single, dynamic system. The ATLAS Spacelab series has two objectives: learning how Earth's atmosphere works and pinpointing factors which lead to the loss of life-protecting ozone.
